About trading UP

I’ve traded up 4 times 6 golden cards, trying to get the ideal sparks loadout. It costed me a lot of time, credit and cards and stil, I didn’t get the card that I want. Something is a bit wrong, I even got a duplicade in a different skin. As long as there is no reroll option or anything else it just seems a waste of everything to even do trade ups at all for sparks.

I know what you’re talking about but keep in mind that Sparks is kind of a specific case, since she has ONE absolutely best loadout (383) and one you could use but it’s not ideal (281).
I was lucky with my trade ups for her, but since then I tried to stick to mercs with several good loadouts to increase my chances (Fragger, Phoenix for example).

3 of my 4 gold tradeups have been decent bacause of that

You roll a randomizer with 9 numbers, that easy. When the card is chosen, you roll a 3-numbered-roll to choose the skin. Same numbers in a row aren’t that unusual in a 1/9.

Choose a number and set 1 to 9. Count how much rolls you need to get your number and how much numbers are in a row.

(I chose 7, got it after 10 times, random nubers were 5, 6, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 5, 7.)

If it’s time wasting, why did you do it instead of buying a bronze loadout? You were fully aware of your chances before you traded up. I traded up 10 times above bronze before I got a BL Aura.

So far I have gotten 1 cobalt. For a character I don’t use and already have an obsidian. RNGesus is a vengeful god.

Makes me happy I don’t want any Cobalts, a lot less work to get Silvers and Golds of the type I want.

You have a 1 in 9 chance to get sparks 383. On average, you should get one copy of 383 for every 9 tries. If you want to gamble with those odds, go ahead. If that sounds like a bad idea, buy a bronze 383 from the store for 17.5k credits and call it a day.

I don’t work with dibs, I work with stoker CW if trading between people becomes a thing :slight_smile:

I’m lvl 47 I got for every merc I use the loadout I need in at least bronze loadout… I just get bored of these colors and want a proper cobalt loadout. The odds are obviously BS to get what you want…

Actually 5.5% if you want the right cobalt skin as well.
