About the incoming Report Player button

Besides being able to report someone due to hack or inappropriate name, can we report them because of their nasty ass racism?

Im from South America, every time I mention it (I complain about my ping a lot, thanks Nexon) or I talk in spanish with a teammate, someone always jumps and talks shit like “oh a fucking beaner” or “do you use banana peels for your internet cable??” and more and more.

Im SICK of you disgusting White American Racists™ which constitute the vast majority of USA and your racism

Yeah it would be nice to have a report option for Offensive Language/Griefing

And I would think you can report whatever you’d like in the end. When you go to submit a report you pick a category and can then include details about why you are reporting. I think they showed 2 possible reasons in the Dishing the Dirty video.

Technically not based on race, but nationality. I was talking about the habit of making false generalizations, no matter the basis.

^dat irony doe… But yeah it’s pretty lame when people say racist stuff. That’s partly why I changed my name from ChinaRep to David Levy. Pretty surprising how many people hate minorities when they’re online.

To be fair to Hex they’re not being racist by calling your country disgusting… there really isn’t a word for being offensive to a nation actually which is why most people fill it with “racist”.

Now to the topic at hand, I believe you can already report people for racist behaviour, but I agree it is very disturbing to be playing a match and suddenly the chat is full of derogatory terms meant to belittle another race. Worst part is usually when I ask someone nicely, “Can you not use terms like that?” their response is to use ONLY that term, and then it spreads to the entire lobby like 2-year-olds in the “brain sponge” phase of life picking up and spewing out everything they hear.

Is there a way to disable another players chat from showing up at all? Similar to how you can mute players?
