Every now and then I find myself in a one-sided game, and usually I don’t want to sit through 10 painful frustrating minutes of spawn camping or with the proverbial headless chickens running around shooting walls and camping, and I’d rather leave game and try to find another one.
Is there any penalties, apart for not having end game credits or tick for missions?
(I’m not saying I enjoy leaving a game, mind you).
About leaving a match.
Ok thanks.
(BTW, I don’t play comp matchs much. Are the ramdom pub teams any better? Or do they have the same amount of headless etc?)
Most pub games are full of newcomers or just casual gamers that want to play for fun. Maybe you will come across a couple of people working together but that usually ends in a dominant win which isn’t fun. For example, last night me and my mate were playing some stopwatch where 3 games in a row we set a time of 4 minutes on attack. Which is practically unbeatable, it got so bad that our team was in the enemy spawn with turrets and grenade spam, that’s not fun for either side.
Yeah… I am a casual player, but it’s not fun at some point to see very bad teammates. And I’ve stopped playing stopwatch mode cause I allways ended up in very one-sided games. That’s the little problem of multi coop pvp games, matches are not allways balanced…
Wish there was a penalty for leaving casual games. It’s a dick move to leave your team making it 8v5 or something like that, since people on the enemy team never give a damn and don’t swap over.
Sometimes people just have to leave. If you’re in an 8v5 the real dick move is one of the 8 not switching to make it fair. Auto-switching is something I’d rather see than punishing the person that leaves.
You can leave a pub at any time for any reason with no penalty. In ranked matchmaking there is a penalty for leaving early if you’re the first to leave. IIRC, if somebody does leave your ranked match and the time given to that player to reconnect elapses, you will get a message stating you can safely leave the match without a penalty.
