About Equipment cases..

I need information when is the loadout in the case decided is it already defined when you get it even if you dot open it?
To be accurate i want to know, if i start accumulating tons of case right now and open them after the next merc release, will i be able to drop some loadout for this merc ?

Case contents are resolved during opening. But the other thing entirely is the set of possible loadouts, which varies depending on case type.

Normal, non event and always available, Standard/Expert/Elite cases - they always have all the mercs, including those released after you got the case.
Event cases, like CW/WtD, contain only mercs released at the time, so you won’t get a Turtle, Aimee or any other future merc out of them.

Actually I’m not sure what is the deal with event Elite cases, those that are normal Elites except having 10% chance for an event skin. The 10% is like I described - only for mercs available at the time, but what about the other 90%? All mercs including future ones, or only current?

Standard elite cases are updated to include new mercs.

Event elite cases are not updated and will always contain the same mercs/loadouts until they are opened. This includes standard, non-event cards.
