Ability to hide default cards

Please give us a check box on the side of the loadouts menu that lets us hide default loadouts

Yep. I thought of this way back but I didn’t bother posting it D:

I was annoyed how the default cards got in the way. CS:GO is a good example. Things I would like to see:
-Ability to hide default loadouts
-Sort loadouts by rarity (obsidian, gold, silver, bronze, iron, lead)
-Sort loadouts by merc (Alphabetical? Arty, Aura, Bushwhacker, Fragger, Proxy, Sawbonez, Skyhammer, …)

and maybe make the loadout screen more… like… create some sort of overview. 2 rows is really not a lot and the cards are HUGE. Maybe add some sort of slider to make the cards smaller or bigger, and/or make the box with all the cards in bigger.

Yup. And I made a thread about marking cards that you want to keep so that you don’t accidentally trade up cards that you want but aren’t equipped to a merc at the time.

Exactly. Something that won’t be put in the auto-fill section and has a visual indicator on it that it’s a favorite or marked to keep forcing you to manually use it in a trade-up situation. Which should reduce accidentally trading in the wrong card which has happened to many I know and myself so far.

Even better, let us tag specific cards as “Favorite” or “Junk”.

  • “Favorite” cards appear first when picking loadouts
  • “Favorite” cards cannot be “traded up” accident, you must unfavorite them first
  • “Junk” cards appear first when picking cards to trade up
  • Each is shown by a small icon superimposed over the edge

+1, I was thinking about making a new thread to suggest a sorting option ^^

And please, let us change the merc’s loadout without having to drag & drop again the same merc in the roster, it’s not very user friendly :wink:

Here’s another vote for a sorting system. I’d be ok with just a sort by rarity but that favorites option would make it so sweet. Not so many options as to clutter the UI, but there’s definitely room for improvement with card interactions.

Although, that would make it easier for everyone to obtain the cards they wanted via RNG. Sorry, silly idea.

The bloat is alright for trade-ups. Maybe just fine tune which augments apply to what mercs when rolling gold. Tripwire on an Arty is kind of a waste, for example.

How totally addicting and sweet would it be if for bronze you could pick one of the skills, silver 2 and gold all 3 with skins for guns and characters a totally separate pay model

I know I would be so much more addicted to grinding for credits. Currently you work so hard for a randomized reward it is almost discouraging

That would be pretty good IMO. However, I doubt it will happen under the current monetization system because RNG works in favor of making money and if all we had to do was get a gold card to pick all the perks we want we’d most likely never need the credits aftewards.

However, it would be awesome if they end up removing monetization from loadouts and let people earn those as you go while monetizing skins and other non-balance related things in the game.

Separating skins from weapons and augments, I can see happening if only to open the door to more skins. However I would be very surprised if we were ever able to pick and choose our weapon and augment combos. At best I could imagine a scheme were you got to pick the one you want from existing combos, or trade up for the next level of one you already have (i.e. unlock the next augment for that loadout series).

I still wonder what to do with gold cards. I got 2 golden Vasilis from cases (Quite lucky I must say) and I can’t do poop with it.

Maybe the option to turn in gold cards for like 5000 credits.
Seems like a waste sort of but you know better than having a useless card!

We definitely need something, sell back or recycle. The Trade-Up scheme has addressed the problem with useless low-level cards, but until Gold ones can be reused it only delays the problem: wait long enough and eventually people will be stuck with a bunch of unused Gold cards.

+1 op. or just add a sort filter. scrolling thru pages of loadout cards just o get an overview of what i have, what i want to keep, what im looking to trade up to and so on is a bit, poo, atm

Or perhaps a sort of “recycle pool” where we could place loadouts that we don’t want to keep, so it would be easier to choose cards during the trade up process ?
