Should take a little while to get to 20 then
And then doing it on more characters… Hm

Do you have a citation for this? And do we know if it takes a fixed amount to level up?
One of the first hands-on previews I read about the previewer used a silenced shotgun.
That video looked so crisp and awesome, its sad that I doubt my xbox and television will look like that.
Well hopefully Brink will be popular enough to last until I can get a good computer.
Once you hack the turret, your disguise is compromised - you lose when you interact with objects.
I seriously hope they got rid of high level interrogation, and I’m hoping that remote control thingy isnt it.
Its the only one I cant make out. :(
I think the remote control is “Homing Beacon.”

I called it. (This video being released)
A really awesome video to release for people who are ignorant to brink would be a video showcasing the simplicity of the online system. The problem is that it wouldn’t make for a very “exciting” video. But somehow conveying that via video for people so they know that if they want to play against bots with their friends, then they can do that. If they want all real people they can do that. If they want to be the only real person in the game they can do that.
Another video idea would be one that showcases the challenges.
One thing that really made this video stand out was how dynamic it was. Like when that one guy juked up the ledge and flanked the guy with his silenced shotgun. I think it really got everyone’s hopes up because people are worried the tactical elements were going out the window with the rim lighting. The idea that you can still be a sneaky badass is uplifting. Not that that engineer would really just stand near his turret and pay no attention to the alley behind him at all but the idea that you could time it right and pull something like that off is awesome.
The video is starting to get reposted…
Oh god… the ignorance in Machinima viewers. I can’t take it.
People comparing the self-revive ability to a perk in Call of Duty… Try to fight these people if you can, just show them the light.
Every comment is about someone comparing the game to another. The sheer ignorance of people about games is just retarded. “Oh noes second chance”, “this game steals black ops hacker pro!”… ect…
Eh, well if we’re giving out kudos that easy, I told them what to make in that thread lol.

I have noticed a few things from this: animations seem much better, it seems like there is a semi- ragdoll effect if someone falls when killed. i also did not recognize some of the guns, as if there is gun skins or guns we have not gotten pics of yet… this is definitely PC gameplay, framerate looks too smooth to be console.if you look at the resistance guy sliding under a box in container city (it focuses on him for a split second) there is some new facepaint he has that we have not seen yet, and maby some new gear. this deserves a in-depth analysis.

It’s really exciting though. It really seems like splash damage is in tune with it’s fans. They really seem to know what we’re thinking.
Also have you guys notices that the gun models look ten times better lately? Much smoother with more detail.
With the variety of abilities for each class, Brink seems to offer something that most other class-based games do not - every single class looks fun to play.
Soldiers aren’t just the guys with ammo - they have grenade and explosive capabilities
Medics don’t just heal and revive - they can buff in a variety of ways
Engineers don’t just build and repair - they can boost damage, armor and CP rewards.
Operatives are just about being sneaky - they offer a wide range of abilities to sabotage the enemy and offer players that aren’t interested in disguising and sneaking around, to still be very effective.

And this is definitely something I had been worried about before, maybe 2 or 3 months ago.
But that isn’t the case anymore.
As can be seen, it is just that.
Every single class looks fun to play indeed.
And I can’t believe I’m saying this but, I might even play Medic. gasp

Yes, actually you may be right.
The one that I thought was the Homing Beacon, is Calltrops.
This is the first Brink trailer that I really like and which makes me want to play the game.
I hope there is going to be more of these, Brink is facing some tough competition, Mortal Kombat, Portal 2, L.A. Noire, and Duke Nukem Forever are all coming out during the next few months. I think that Brink will benefit from favorable reviews, but it still vital to have lot of videos out there in the YouTube that will make the gamers think that they simply can not live without this game.

I thought the soldier had the armor buff?
