Hi Guys
After seeing all the latest threads
I decided to offer the community a chance to read somthing of a balanced interview.

As a prelude to the Euro release of Splash Damage’s new IP Brink, we have gathered two of Enemy Terettory Quake Wars, (Splash Damage’s last release) more famous players St00p1d and Dommafia to give us there first impressions of Brink. You may be surprised by some of the comments

i’m not a “notable player” by any means, and no one asked me for my opinion, but you can always just ignore this if you want to.

i like the honesty. i’m kind of in the middle of both of them. I was super excited about the game, and now that it’s out, i’m enjoying it, but it’s also pretty easy to walk away from. Path system = good,(hopefully that works on xbox too), but the unlocks and guns are incredibly disappointing. I had everything unlocked within the first 20 minutes of playing (guns and attachments), but the movement is almost single-handedly keeping me playing.

Well worse than I expected mainly the super slow movement and awful aim with bad weapon fire spread, need to pulse fire to get accuracy

I mean really?
Slow movement? You have Smart and run from one side of the map to the other in a shorter amount than any other game, especially as a light body type.

And what does he expect from the weapons? To be dead accurate on full auto spraying? I’m no Pro gamer when it comes to PC shooters, but i still have no problems shooting other people.

But yeah, his next answer clears everything up for me

I prefer just going for kills on public servers but in a way it’s still helping the team.

Cause i don’t see how you can go for kills in an objective gameplay and help the team with it…maybe the wrong kind of game for him.

The other guy seems too eager though…Brink is good, i love it, but he is writing like it is the best that was ever created.

Hate me for that, but that is my unbiased (since i did not know those guys and never played ET) review of the reviewers

In regards to stoops complaints of getting caught on ledges ect while sprinting, someone may want to tell him that he only needs to tap shift for sprint. For climbing ledges you need to hold the shift, but sprint is simply toggled by tapping the shift key.

No reason to hate you this game just suits me like a murder glove to oj’s hand. Should I not sound eager when I’m actually enjoying the crap out of the game? It’s not perfect, specially not for everybody… but it suits me.
