A simple tweak to diversify (and balance) sniper rifles

Just simply decrease the MOA-1 rifle base damage to 60. Damage would still be enough to instagib everyone with ≤120 base health and at the same time this tweak would make the FEL-IX a viable option as it would be the only rifle capable of instagibbing a full health Fragger.
As it stands the MOA-1 is just the superior choice for Vassili by a mile, it does everything better than the FEL-IX and this should be changed.

Nah.

They should just rather give the gun a higher headshot multiplier to justifying a nerf to bodyshot damage.

like 50 * 3 = 150 enough to kill Fragger.

And at the same time, you could make a diversity with Felix then having higher base damage than the MoA, so it’s more… bodyshot friendly :neutral:

The MoA should at least do enough damage to headshot Fragger, and the Felix, imo, should headshot Rhino.

Maybe that’s just me but that;s my take on it.

Right now he wins pretty much every fight against anyone except Rhino and Fragger if he lands even a single bodyshot because the machine pistols are so strong for the cleanup.

I feel like Rhino should remain tanky enough that you can’t instakill him from full health.

I think the Moa is fine as is and the Felix should just do 80 damage again which is enough to kill the weaker characters, they can be revived since it wasn’t a headshot, they’re fast and small so they’re the least likely to hit and can reach Vasilli quickly enough to kill him as they’re made to be both more effective at close range (Aura, Proxy who I now has 85, bit its really close) or can counter snipe (Sparks), along with that any headshot would be enough to kill everyone but Rhino, at 160 a shot but leave him vulnerable if hit again, especially if Rhino is in the open.
