Is this safe or not to start a new character for the moment?
I know there’s lots of bugs and i saw some players that got trouble with it. I dont want that it erase my main character. I’m lvl 20 medic/engineer and i’d like to make a soldier/operative.
OR
If i reset my abilities many times, i will lose one level, then i will gain again one credit when i reach the level 20? So i can have every abilities on the same character.
I didn’t understand your 2nd question but as for the first one, I now have 4 characters and have had no problems at all with any of them getting deleted. I’d say that if you don’t have any other problems with the game, such as a graphical bug, go for it.
1st… which system you use? (PC, 360, PS3)
If you reset, you loose one level, one point, and everything else you got with level up, so if you releveled to 20 you have as much points as you had before at 20.
On PC i didnt´s had a lost character, have one on 20 and one on 14, all fine. Think you can also just make a copy of the savegame, incase it crashes, copy the savegame back, put steam cloud off, play a while, then put steamcloud again on, should work (not tested)
i just maxed out my first on 360 i started A new character fine you can keep all clothes and attachments only ABILITY RESET ON YOURE NEW CHARCTER
I have two characters, one level 14 and one on level 3
Nothing out of the ordinary has happend on my game?
Is this an xbox or ps3 problem??
The only thing with starting a new char is, that he is totally weak compared to what you might be used to:)
I started a new one yesterday and found it aweful because the medium is so much slower then the light.
Started a new character and the voice of my first character changed permanently. Be careful with everything you do in Brink.
Created a 2nd character, rather than muck around resetting abilities. So far so good.
