The Russian Motherland joins us?

You’re such a party pooper!
Yeah it’s probably nothing but it would have been a nice “surprise!”
It’s why you need to play the game  I told you guys a thousand times already, make a Developer Friday of W:ET every week. At least one hour. Live by example, rather than our words. There is really not much more to say, we guys really tried to tell you what we like about the movement system of W:ET and why we would love to see it in DB, rather than what we currently have.

The way i see this video is from map design and movement system pov, the two biggest issues with DB currently (imo).

You guys have so much great ideas for the characters and gameplay aspects of DB, it really wouldn’t hurt setting that up on a base game with similar fundamentals as W:ET. In these important parts you really managed to create a poor game from my perspective, and all the nice things you add on top of it are not going to help i feel.
I 100% agree. He is right and the SD fan boys won’t be honest and admit it. They are just moving along and letting DB go the way of brink rather then being brutally honest about the game is what needs to be said. You wanna help this game succeed and make money, then speak up and let sd know what’s wrong, don’t bow down at every milestone video of character updates for the 5th time, yet we haven’t seen a single model introduced to the game yet. Things like that. Be honest, because acqu is right.
Are my eyes deceiving me? Never seen so many “clients” online.
Did SD open the gates? Or did a lot of past players feel the urge to connect this very moment?
Empty slots now count as players!

It might be that they are testing the gameplay with 32 slots on 3 hidden servers. (Keeps on dreaming )

I approve this message strongly! (We need -/+ buttons on the forums to bring posts which most people agree with in a spotlight. And to prevent “I agree” posts like this one which doesn’t contribute anything to the actual discussion. :D)

(RasteRayzeR) #292

32 slots haha, good one … sigh

(Nail) #293

its the russian servers, we just don’t see them. Seems they started Saturday, sign up through Facebook

(Mustang) #294

Yup as some have said the next (second?) round of Russian invites went just went out.

(RasteRayzeR) #295

Do they have a separate forum ? Because I saw no one new in the “introduce yourself” thread …

(Rengenius) #296

We have separate everything. :frowning:
I think it’s probably the FOV, but I only play at 100 myself so even if this is 90 I’d kind of expect it to be faster.

I dunno, just wondered, I recall it being much faster than this last time I played, and you folks make it sound 1000 times as fast :D
It must be the FoV. RtCW felt like it played considerably faster than that with a lot more teamwork. The escorting really slows momentum down I guess.

Edit:

If you look at those matches almost every time you see the entire team moving as a unit with medics constantly reviving. To me it seemed a lot more team oriented without the need to force teamwork.

(Humate) #298

Used to be able to do that with the fops… they changed it unfortunately.
