a question regarding an unusual case in ranked.

I just played a ranked match, where there was someone who connected but left the game immediately in warmup. I thought that the match wouldn’t start because there aren’t 10 players in the match since the hotfix is for the uneven team size issue that has been happening. But, the match started with a 4v5 that went on through the whole match. Does this case relate to the uneven team size that’s been going on recently? Thanks. http://i.imgur.com/eOP270m.jpg

it shouldnt start if its uneven.
but i think the guy who left is disconnected but didnt came back

The problem probably came if he didn’t click abandon when he left. The game allows time for the person to reconnect to the match after disconnecting so it’s perfectly possible that the game still counted him as “in match” and when he officially abandoned the match had already started.

He joined the game at first, and instantly left with full time on the warmup clock.

the sad thing is that after this if the match continues for long it will say “it is safe to leave the team etc.” well don’t straight
