A new feature idea

Apart from the every 3 hr missions… i have been thinking of introducing another feature to this game. Maybe we could have a set of mission for each merc which is EXCLUSIVELY for that merc. These missions are available from start and you progress in them while you play
For example:

For fletcher we can have missions like Stick 100 stickies on an enemy (Equal to 500 credits)
For Fragger we can have Kill 4 people in one frag (Equal to 750 credits)
For Arty we can have " Get 100 kills from Artillery strikes" etc
For Sparks we can have “Get 100 reviver gun kills”

Like these we can have for all mercs. Now these should be added in like achievements on a separate tab apart from Profile Store and all. This can encourage people to PLAY WITH DIFFERENT MERCS and also make the GAME PLAY INTERESTING. Your comments on this?

i liked it. the mission right now are very boring, it would be nice if there are more variation.

To be honest, i’d rather not have those kinds of missions.
Compared to our actual missions, these promote kills over objectives, and ultimately, it could cost one possible victory.
Another releveant comparaison with these missions and the actual ones would be that they would reward only the best players instead of everyone.
I might be wrong, since i’m sick though.

The game definitely needs more credit reward paths to go by, not that earning credits is hard but it’s fun to do missions. Usually when I’m done my missions i go play something else since I’m already above lv40!

@Rexitech but the missions can include objective missions like “Plant 100 c4 or disarm 100 C4” And this motivates people to become better!! i hope you can see the point

those missions takes too much time and sound more like achievements than they are missions.

@Akash this actually makes alot of sense for new players, give them objective based missions (yes similar to achievements, but drop the amount needed) so they learn as they earn!

@terminal yea agree that’s why i also said to add this under achievements…

@hotpinkCherry yea but dropping the amount might make it easy for veterans :smile: maybe dropping it for tier 1 like instead of 100 maybe a 50 stickies or c4 will do the trick and increasing it in tier 3 for veterans

I think that this Proxy (whoever made this post :P) meant it to be missions that you don’t complete every 3 hours if you get them but they are missions that you get since you first launch DB and you progress in them slowly (so it might take a week or more to complete each one of them)
If you understand what I mean :3

i started to dont care about missions and just play what i want :confused:
i dont think we need more ways to get credits, you can get easily 5k per day from base fee, missions and bonuses, and if you want you can get much more per day
and now you even get level reward,

AND if you guys dont know this game is f2p and people need to buy stuff, guess what would happen if they woudnt see the “grind wall” between buying mercs, cards etc

I don’t like it. In my opinion the missions shouldn’t dictate what and how you play. And then I will be forced to play minemonkey because of Credits and achievements.

@Jostabeere It is optional right? Anyways wont you get bored by playing the same merc… when u start trying new ones this might encourage you to try harder!

I just want the option to never see a execution mission for the rest of my Dirty Bomb experience.

Optional would be if you won’t get stuff you need to buy mercs/cases with. The missions we have now are already optional a 4th one isn’t less optional than the current ones, so this argument fails, sorry. Also I played all mercs. And there are some I don’t look forward to play. I don’t care if I miss out something, I just don’t wanna play them. Achievements fine. Missions that give credits? No thanks.
P.S. A currency you need to progress in the game isn’t optional by any means.

Personally, I think we should scrap merc missions. And just have get x amount of x type of XP, and have those 3 cycle every 3 hours.
