This is a small and hard to really explain suggestion for loadouts, especially higher quality ones due to the subjectively large credit cost and loss of multiple loadouts, my suggestions is as follows, besides the usual complaint that the prices for trading in a loadout card are a tad high.
If one was to trade up/trade in cards and is spending multiple loadouts of the one merc they want to trade up for (Read, wasting 2-3 Bronze Sawbonez for a Silver Sawbonez) the loadout recieved will likely not be the ones lost, at higher qualities, players will have a lesser chance of getting the loadout they had before already if they had enough of them.
Example; Bronze Redeye P52 + Redeye D41 + Redeye G75 (Trading up to a Sil. Redeye) =/= Sil.Redeye P52/D41/G75, chances of it being devided based on how many more of the same character loadout cards being used, giving the player at max a 1 out of 3 of it being “the right one” if used trading up for a cobalt.
If one was to just have a single loadout on the other hand (Read, 1 Bronze Fletcher, 1 Bronze Rhino, 1 Bronze Proxy for a Silver Rhino) the likeliness of the higher quality loadout being the one loadout related to the merc one is trading up to is multiplied by the “dud” cards.
Example; Golden Nader KE81 + Aura H42 + Sawbonez SM72 + Skyhammer M92 + Kira D41 + Phantom C94 (Trading up to a Cobalt Nader) = Higher chance of a Cobalt Nader KE81, chances being multiplied due to the trade up.
Finally an “all for the merc’s speciality” case series, this series add’s a few more augmentations, one in mind being a Rhino walks at regular speed when using his minigun, This series, would have a rare card that’d be strange, for example with that Rhino augmentation I just said, with ice cold and nitro, but with only a melee weapon available besides their minigun, making him great at mid/close range but not at all besides that point or a Pantom with only a magnum and katana but Undercover, chopper and quickslash… (this sounds either insanely stupid or insanely fun…)
