A little PC help?

Alright, so I’ve got an issue that only seems to arrive when I play Dirty Bomb and Supreme Commander 2. My computer just powers off. No warning. No blue screen. Just WHOOSH and its black. Upon a new start up my computer tells me nothing. Its just a normal start up.

The first time this happened I just thought it was a power cord issue, so I replaced that. Still happened. Then I thought “aaaaaaaahhh shit I bet my power supply is bunk.” So upgraded from a 430w to a 650w. Started up Dirty Bomb, played a few rounds and then my computer shut off. Again.

So I’m stuck here. This only occurs when I play DB and SC2. League of Legends and any other steam game is totally fine so far. I know DB inst optimized yatta yatta but I seriously doubt its so bad that it could crash my computer like that. I know the outlet is fine, it ran my old computer just fine without any issues.

Anyone have any ideas?

I think it may be better to put this in bug reporting or technical issues. Maybe contact SD directly. @NxA_Noxie may be able to help.

What other games did you try? Have you checked your GPU temps or CPU temps?

i had something like that with my old pc and it was just overheating.
install a software that will monitor your temperature

A laundry list of steam games, too many count honestly.
As for temperature no I haven’t checked it. That would irritate the piss out of me because I’ve gone to great lengths to reduce heat as is. I’ll have to check up on that thanks.
