Awesome. Its working!!! haha

(ToonBE) #4

Please reduce MM to level5 aswell!

(spookify) #5

I like it at level 7…

Reduces Smurfs, allows you to get used to the game AND allows you to unlock a few mercs.

It did not take long at all to reach level 7…

I both agree and disagree on this one.

I’m not level 7 yet, I’ve played a fair bit -but not heavily.
I’m also not new to Dirty Bomb or ET-style games so I can’t be defined a smurf in this sense.

My concern is that introducing the game to new players may put them off if there’s no chance of directly joining a friend before hitting level 7. Yes, there’s the server browser, but still.
(SD may also have something in the works when it comes to joining friends that I missed…?)

However, I do enjoy playing with higher leveled players myself, because games tend to be more balanced and the teamplay is much better.

(Szakalot) #7

definitely need a way to join friends in games without the comp mm

(INF3RN0) #8

Can someone explain to me how the credit rewards are calculated? thanks.

(SDStyLeZ) #9

Fix aura pls!

(ragnak) #10

shoe. could you ask around how much longer do SD plan on tormenting players with aura and fragger ? Thanks !

I agree with lvl 7 being a good point for the competitive play to come into effect. There’s other games out there that do take a while for you to earn the privilege to play compet and its purely to allow you more time to get better, know the game and find out the extra little things that become big things. I also agree with you when you’d like to play with friends before lvl 7 and not purely in MM. This is something we are looking to implement though so when we have updates on that we’ll be sure to let you know!

I can pass this on for you, but what issues are you finding with them in particular? I’m enjoy running around and nailing them with my cricket bat as Aura atm :3

Are you kidding? people write about frager and healing station of aura from the first beta, maybe atlast someone from your company enter your forum and nexon forum and read some feadback.

I honestly doubt that SD dont know whats the problem is at the moment seeing that its a hot topic for few months already. I avoid playing both aura and fragger simply because its unfair and it doesnt help that fragger is the most expensive merc so it looks like a “pay2win” scheme for a lot of people (especially for new players).

Could you at least ask someone from balance team to drop in and explain to people why is fragger suppose to be the best merc in the game and at the same time being the only one at the moment to reliably destroy healing station which is the second best thing in the game.

“You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to ragnak again.”

(Shadwblade2652) #15

proxy’s ‘falling pig’ augment doesn’t seem to negate any fall damage. Am I missing something?

(Exedore) #16

Probably not… there are bugs to be fixed!

(ragnak) #17

Is it really so hard to write a post if you plan on fixing fragger/aura anytime soon ? =/

(Exedore) #18

We can probably do a blog about overall balancing in the near future. Those Mercs in particular haven’t actually jumped out in the metrics.

(ragnak) #19

Had a feeling that unless “echo” overlord tell you to you wont touch anything. I could understand waiting for metrics for light mercs or blishlok but fragger and aura ? Thanks for the reply anyway.

(montheponies) #20

On the subject of balance - has there been any movement with a ‘skill’ rank (as opposed to the current progression rank)?
