A Highrise Construction Site Map

I’d love to see a map that sees players fight across the tops of a highrise construction site, with cranes and pipes (like the ones in Underground) creating interesting flanking routes that have the players balancing on precarious edges of forty story drops. Something like the map ‘Highrise’ on the COD Modern Warfare 2 (sorry to bring COD up) in the sense of the massive cranes providing walkways across the drops.

The main reason that I’d love to see it in DB is because of the awesome kinds of parkour elements in DB that, in my opinion, would be most complex and interesting in a map with scaffolding, planks/pipes suspended mid-air by cranes, and maybe even a massive wrecking ball objective that is required for the attackers to break through a wall (like the checkpoint gate on Terminal).

But to elaborate, a huge crane with a wrecking ball that could be hijacked and used to blow a hole in a wall would be awesome as an objective for the attacking team - it’d be great to see something more spectacular as an objective.

I’d love to see more vertical gameplay in DB (Bridge is fun in that sense, but I think it could be pushed further). Just be careful though, SD devs, that you don’t make the map too easy for the team with the easiest access to the high ground - anyone who’s played BF4 Rush on Siege of Shanghai will know what I’m talking about.

Dome has a fair bit more verticality and parkour elements to it. So don’t worry it will come.

Some highrise, construction zone or concrete social housing themed maps would be sweet tho.

There is something like that in one of the unused/unreleased maps called Rebar.

Yeah that’s kind of what I mean, but I really wanted to see the use of suspended objects hanging from cranes and forty story drops below as you take risky shortcuts/flanking routes over massive drops to the streets below.

It definitely looks like a cool construction site map though.

I imagine I would be hard to implement for how Dirty Bomb works. Having multiple objectives on a rooftop would be hard, and interesting at that to how they would pull it off if it happened.
