a fog question

i have putted the textures/radar/fog in my worldspawn…
it works… and in my first ‘‘test map’’ (one i made to try things out) it worked all fine…
but in my map im working on… if i play it… i gat this really ugly thing
pics :

with ugly thing i mean the grey part…
and at the second part you normally have to see the island…
but maybe that’s because of the fog…
i dont know… im just a beginner…
does anyone have a cleu how to fix it ?

PS. pics are of bad quality…

I have never really seen fog in ET before.

really not ??
its used in radar… in railgun and many custom maps…

I mean throught the map. All the fog I ever see is long distance fog, and then when you move into it, it is clear.

Seems to me that you need a own fog-shader for your map with more distance.

q3map_fogDir angle

Specifies the direction a fog shader fades from transparent to opaque.

do you really have this? check that you have it,coz i couldnt find it…
