a fix that helped me and a friend ATI CARDS

(scou7) #1

we both downloaded the 11.5 patch and went into the control center to gaming and turned triple buffering on located at the button of gaming and applied it then turned vertical sync on and the game runs perfect EXCEPT stupid lines on the walls …

my pc specs are
AMD Phenom II X4 925 processor 2.80 Ghz
6 gigs of ram
64 bit operating system

my graphics card is ati radeon HD 4650 1 gig

i am running this game maxed out on all settings at 1920 at 60 hertz and getting a great 80 to 90 constant FPS

There’s no award for quad posting?

(Splash Damaged) #6

Fail troll. If your vsync is on at 60Hz, how are you getting 89-90 fps?

(scou7) #7

what you talking about i was running fraps would you like screen shots

(Warruz) #8

the purpose of Vsync to have your FPS match your monitors refresh rate. Yours dont.

Enabling triple buffering in catalyst controls made it run even worse for me, like 5-10 fps

There’s no quick fix, if there was I dont think ATI would have rushed out 11.5a trying to fix it.
