A few problems

First problem i have is refering to my pictures in my old thread http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/showthread.php?p=194606#post194606

I think this happens when i make a brush, copy the brush but forget about the clone then use the tool “select inside” and copy the brush again, then notice it has a duplicate and i delete that leaving this chaulk bugged surface. I tried using the brush cleanup tool but it says “11 invalid/duplicate planes removed” but then if i press it again it will just say the same thing, again and again making me think it the tool is not actually working? im using gtkradiant 1.5.0. also, rarely if i make some complex brushes, if i compile then look at it in-game some brushes will stick out all over the place and not look like it did on radiant, same thing (but even more crazy) on gtkradiant 1.4 , except not only does it look different and not the way its suppose to in-game but in the editor as well. some brushes might be huge or small or jagged etc.

Does anyone know where to find tutorials for advanced topics such as gold stealing, trucks, tanks, etc and how do i make a trigger where when walked through makes a sound?.

If the brushcleanup tool says: 11 invalid/duplicate brush planes removed, you can delete them by the backspace because the’re selected. Delete the brushes (maybe rebuild the deleted brushes again) and compile now.

when I made a big castle like building, some walls and roof bits “dissappeared”.
Or rather they became translucent.
I found all my dissappearing brushes were structural, after making them detail brushes my problem was gone.

And a good tank tutorial is here : http://www.pythononline.co.uk/et/tutorial38.htm
