A few general suggestions

Just going to get right into it:

  • way too many loading screens.
  • better server browser, more importantly the ability to exclude certain game types / maps
  • get into games faster (way too many checks done here and much too slowly)
  • the ability to mute peoples chat when you mute their voice. Muted should be muted.
  • better matchmaking in games
  • better credit rewards
  • unlock my camera on melee swings please! (a locked camera when you swing makes it 10000% harder)

These next few are a little longer:

  • When I have a map turned off, say, trainyard for instance. I should never be loaded into that map. Yet, I get shoved into trainyard games consistently because the map isn’t actually loaded yet, they are still in the lobby when I join, but the map has been picked.

  • I’d also like it if I didn’t get placed into games that have like 2 seconds left, only to join and hear the announcer state that I’ve lost before I’ve even loaded in and deployed. There should be some sort of a cutoff on when people can still join and when they can’t.

  • If you leave a game, it should be excluded from the list of servers the game checks when attempting to start a new game. Chances are if you left, there was a reason for it. I understand that sometimes you might get d/c’d and are playing with friends and would like to return, so perhaps a check box you can tick off to say “let me back in” or “no keep it away from me!”.

  • Missions, I am pretty sure these used to rotate in faster. 3hrs is a tad long for a timer imho. Honestly don’t think they should be longer than an hour, but maybe that is just me. Also, I’d like the ability to just shut off certain types of missions. Like competitive that takes me forever to queue for, so I end up cancelling most of these, or get x amount of support xp in a mission, etc, etc. Lastly, I think 500 credits is too low for a lot of these. I think 1k should be the basement and it should go up from there. No reason to be so stingy, the credit rewards without missions for just playing are already horrible enough as it is.

  • I’d like the ability to sell loadout cards I don’t need for credits as well. I understand you can trade them up, but sometimes you just want to get rid of them. There should be a option for that as well.

  • It would be nice if we could adjust the gain on individuals voice in game (like +/- 5). Often times I will get a person who is trying to use a mic (much to my surprise since 99% of people I play with don’t even seem to have sound turned on it seems, let alone actually use a mic) and I can’t hear them, but I can hear everyone else just fine. Even with the in game option maxed out, they are still low. Be nice to be able to just give them a tiny bump in game, without trying to explain to that person how to adjust their mic settings in windows while trying to play.

and I saved the best for last…

Can we get rid of the tutorial intro at the start of every … flippin … map! PLEASE!.

This shouldn’t even be a option past level 5. By then, you should know what you are doing I think. If it’s a new game mode you’ve never played, fine, let it play, but other then that … no reason for it. You’re just wasting everyone’s time.

Fast enough to allow for a full free to play experience if you really insist, but slow enough to encourage a few purchases. Free to play doesn’t just mean “free”, they still need to make money or the game is doomed.

I don’t have any issues with the existing maps, not sure I’d leave a server over one being picked, though I understand people have their preferences.

I assume you wouldn’t mind joining a game as it ends if the next game starts pretty quickly.

I feel like the scaling of what you have to do vs. how many credits for the 1-3 star missions is a little off, but overall they’re fine for me.

With my voice volume in game turned up, the people who do have decent mics don’t sound too bad, though.

I don’t really think there’s too many loading screens, I think it’s that the loading screen takes too long, sometimes I load into the game and it just loads me back to the lobby menu for me to deploy even though I was already in prelobby.

Semi-related: Having to click the Deploy button, then wait 15 seconds, then hit space to deploy feels super clunky to me. It’s better since the last patch, and I like that you can pick your merc, then hit space to spawn in - but I’d rather than initial “Deploy” click just be automatic. Once the screen is loaded, start the 15 second timer - or better yet, just dump me at the “Hit space to deploy” screen.

The tutorial at the beginning is ESSENTIAL, they have it so everyone can connect before the game starts, as of right now, I normally don’t even make it in time.

Wasn’t there a “bug” with the deploying where you aren’t loaded but your merc is already there and killable?

Sounds like you need a better computer / SSD / net.

Also, if they streamlined the game start process, it would greatly increase the speed at which people entered the game.

I shouldn’t have to watch the tutorial, every single game, just because you can’t afford a decent PC.

No offense, just speakin the truth.

Quickjoin 15 sec coundown is a total rubbish. I understand official version that there is need to sync loadouts, but does it really takes that long ? Its hard to believe considering that prior to last(or was it one be4) update player could load in game already dead, meaning that he was deployed by that time for at least few seconds(whole sync part could be shifted into loading part imo).
Cred rewards are fine as they are, id say even 2 generous. Game needs to make money as well. And 3 hour timer for missions is well balanced.
Into in games should be skippable if enough players press specific button.
Whole loading part is truly annoying, especially considering that you can easely end up back in pre-game lobby, or even main screen after it.
