A favor to ask of someone concerning command maps ...

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping me make atleast two command maps for my new map … I guess you can pm me or reply here if you are … About everything I have tried to make so far I have not been impressed with even though I follow tutorials …

The map description and pictures are found at this links [so you will atleast know it isn’t a bum map :D]

Actually, to put the record straight … I want to release my map, but my crappy artistic abilities are holding up an otherwise good looking map … [ good to look for a partner anyhow …]

Why 2 command maps? In any case, a good tutorial for command maps can be found here:

As well as the Schaffermod, which you’ll need to take higher resolution tracemaps

Yeah, I tried using that site and made a somewhat decent yet still crappy and highly more detailed version of the same maps I have been making that I could not get to work in the game [not as a result of the site I mind you,] which is sort of why I am asking for help.

My map has more than one level to it …

Multiple-layer-commandmaps won’t work right with ET (etmain).
AFAIK they will work properly with ETpro now, but then its really annoying for etmain players.

If that is the map with the bot capabilities I believe I have it on my hard-drive somewhere. Otherwise I can get two levels to work decently with a few errors with the icons, but not enough to royally affect gameplay unless I added 3 levels, which is actually what I need.

If messed up commandmapicons don’t affect gameplay, everything is fine.

Yeah, that’s why I had to leave it at two … Otherwise the top layer commandmap and the bottom layer commandmap switch between each other at really odd unexpected elevations … It’s annoying when you are the top of some tower and all you see in the commandmap is stuff that belongs to the lowest commandmap and then it switches right and then back again.
