Sorry for the low amount of notes today. The stream was a little off-topic due to the fact an update has JUST come out. Hopefully the one’s going forward will have more info – sorry, again.

News:

  • Some substantial teasers for the “big” update will be coming very soon! They wanted to wait until the recent update went out, before releasing teasers for the next one.
  • There is NO confirmation or disconfirmation about the supposed “leaked” loadout cards. However, the way in which Shoe was talking about it – looks like our next merc has already been heavily hinted towards. I’m pretty stoked!
  • Question: Can we expect Dome in the next update? – “I would just keep an eye on the social channels. We have some good teasers for you.”
  • Reminder: The next update will be the “big” content update. 1 merc is definitely confirmed to be in it.

Possible changes/updates:

  • They understand the HUGE concern over the card “trade ins” already. Remember, leave feedback on the forums or Reddit, and they will be taken into account going forward for the next update.
  • There is definitely ALREADY planned changes for the “trade in” option. Seems it was released in an early iteration, so the above point also applies.
  • Stark AR MAY be being looked at for buffs. Not confirmed.
  • Missed from last stream (oops): A “surrender” button/option in competitive is currently being worked on. There will also be an auto-surrender feature for when an entire party disconnects, so that the other team isn’t just waiting around for the timer.

Extra info:

  • Guest: MissMurder and Shoe duo! …MissShoe? ShoeMurder? I dunno.
  • If MissMurder was a boy, she would be called Jeff. Remember to call her by her true name next time you see her. (Mwahahaha)

Let’s hope that with this the trade-in hysteria will die down a bit. Although I bet people will keep complaining since the changes won’t be until the update hits in two weeks, based on how SD has updated in the past.

Am I the only one who thinks burst weapons got enough buffs ? I mean, they have 165 DPS as far as I know, this is far above everything on DB so far but the minigun. :confused:

Well atm the Stark is just a bad BR-16 so it really need the buff

I know that Stark has less clip, but I never tried it in detail. I though it was supposed to be more stable. I am probably wrong.

It isn’t at all, the spread increases very fast.
It also takes up way more screen space, has a scope which is actually just a tube of toilet paper stuck on top, and that one less burst makes a fairly large difference.

Maybe the Stark will get buffed when the next merc is released. :wink:

The BR-16 is currently the best Rifle in the game… Insta Kills and annoying to play against. People just dont know how to use it.

lol, I got 38 internet points Big won’t be “Big” enough for most and won’t include their pet peeve, I would have called it a “Content Update” and let everyone be surprised rather than disappointed. Always under promise and over deliver
