Sounds like the alpha forum is bump’n. Pretty slow on the General Discussion forum though 
I know there’s a NDA for the alpha phase but can’t they release any info? I’m checking the forums here every other day. Should I make it every other week? o.0
The thirst for more info is strong and SD are so cruel to starve us. Life is so short. I don’t want much.
7500 is insane. Assuming everybody bought the legendary pack and all of those people use the forum, 7500 posts with 100 posts average would be in the 10 thousands of money that SD made so far off of those packs not including the higher tier ones. Is this incorrect? Are there actually veteran and below pack players in the alpha so far?

Ya, I stopped checking back quite frequently. No real point when they can’t really release any information. I’ll check back whenever the NDA is lifted or I actually get access to the game 
The only way to prove that there are 7,500 + posts is for a screen shot of that forum… 
Well, the number includes developer posts, as we can be much more responsive in the closed forum. Not a hugely significant percentage or anything, but moreso than in the public areas.
I could say some things are discussed to death.
I try to change the direction and dont let people get stuck in the same loop of ideas, but its hard since a lot of people is stressing all the possibilities of every single detail.
SD created Echo to analisys gameplay info. Now they need to release Telematic Black Hole to analisys forum info.
People are organized and focused on the closed alpha forum, less blur, less off topic, bigger content. You could say 1 closed alpha post counts like 2 or 3 open forum topic, so we have 15000 posts or 22500 posts.

Zzzzz, so far we know the alpha is going on. That’s about it. NDA with no updates from SD makes Brinkman a dull boy.
SD doesn’t like to ruin surprise parties, especially when the flavor of ice cream or the type of cake hasn’t been completely agreed upon. Be patient and I bet they will toss you a cookie soon enough!
To run with your analogy, some people are allergic to peanuts so if the stuff that will be served at the party will all contain peanuts then they might not want to come. Telling them in advance will reflect well on your party since you’ll allow them to quickly make an informed choice.If you do it well they might even recommend your party to others even though they’re not going themselves.
