The post from the news reads:

Dirty Bomb will be in maintenance at 16:00 UTC on August 6th, 2015, in order to perform a game update. The maintenance is expected to last 2 hours. There will be a client and server update, but there should be minimal server downtime.
When:

  • London (BST, UTC +1:00): 17:00 - 19:00
  • Los Angeles (PDT, UTC -7:00): 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
  • Sydney (AEST, UTC +10:00): 2:00 AM - 4:00 AM, August 7th

What:

  • Dirty Bomb servers and client will be updated with a game update.
  • There should be minimal server downtime.

So, does this mean Red-Eye might be coming today? NO. It is not guaranteed sadly. In case those are still wondering, as stated in the stream yesterday - Red-Eye’s arrival today is certainly a possibility, but there is no confirmation.

We can expect some bug fixes and tweaks, but unless Red-Eye is included, there probably won’t be anything major. For more information, check the past dev stream round-ups on #roundup

Well lets see how big the update is, maybe if its really big it could include red eye. But i quess that we have to wait.
But the chance that red eye is comming is low because they haven’t official posted the merc rol call video online

You can’t judge a Dirty Bomb update by its size, because they don’t patch a file, they replace the whole thing, making the update much larger than you’d think.

Indeed! A base-sized update is around 1.4gb, anything around 1.7gb we can assume to be major content, and anything above 2gb we can start going HYYYYYYYYYYPE!!!

But in all seriousness, this is what I’ve noticed. Sorry if I’m wrong ^.^

+1 to that! Sparks may be my number 1, but Fletcher is one of my main mercs too ^.^ I would LOVE for the stupid disappearing sticky bomb bug to be fixed x-x

From what Shoe said on stream it sounds like Fletcher fixes are coming, but I didn’t get the impression they’d be today? Could be wrong though! I’m hoping for bonus RedEye in today’s patch too.

Redeye Roll call is now up on the Dirty bomb channel officially. Hopefully he will come out after the maintenance, they even said “While you wait why not educate yourself on Redeye?”
