5v5 ranked queue to be added

I have so many second thoughts on this, I don’t even know where to begin.

Good, that’s the way it should be. Of course I know the biggest minus here, you now might come across full pre made teams, but so what? That’s the risk in matchmaking on every game. Climbing the ranked ladder alone isn’t easy in any game

I’m pretty sure we’re looking at 5 premades versus 5 premades, not 5 premades against randoms (which is what was removed in the first place).

And the elephant in the room is that we’re already struggling with the matchmaking pool as it is, imagine if half of them are now in a seperate pool?

Nope, no risk of that at all! 5vs5 is an entirely separate queue! :slight_smile:

Oh yeah, smallish playerbase might have problems on that aspect. I guess it’s worth a try though, just because I do really think that’s how it should be in any case, if it completely destroys matchmaking on the game it’s probably really quickly picked up and easily reverted if SD so wants

Welp enjoy your 40 minute of looking for a match to end up with a probably unbalanced match. Some will say I see the wrong everywhere but i guess we have to wait and see. Im not convinced about that but at least premade can premade.

Don’t I feel like a goof! I’ll say in my defense that I never play matchmaking, just because I don’t have anyone to play it with :#

Finally, ugh. Had almost entirely given up on ranked and was going mostly for PUGs and scrims whenever I wanted to get some serious 5v5 gameplay with FF on.

Well that’s a good news. Obviously skipping 5vs5 players was not a wise decision. As far as I can remember, ranked 5vs5 was supposed to come back for season 2.
