News:
- New merc confirmed: Red-Eye. (No current expected release date, it is still being tested – likelihood is next week)
- There is likely a new patch coming TOMORROW! (6th August) However, Red-Eye is NOT confirmed for this update, it’s likely mostly bug fixes.
- Brand new melee weapon: Kukri Knife.
- Brand new gun: Grander SR Battle Rifle (semi-auto combat rifle). – Will kill MOST mercs with 2 headshots, NOT all.
- Red-Eye has 3 usable primaries: Dreiss AR, Grander SR Battle Rifle (new gun) and PDP-70.
- Like Phantom, only 1/3 of Red-Eye loadouts will come with the Kukri Knife. The others will be Silnotto Stilletto – no other melee weapons are confirmed for him.
- Red-Eye’s unique ability is the infra-red vision (AS WELL AS SMOKE GRENADES!!!). This has a cooldown and limited time usage, and if YOU are spotted by a Red-Eye you will get a “detected” warning, like the Vassili hearth-beat sensor.

Possible changes/updates:
- Question: “Will you ever separate weapons from character skins?” – Shoe (the host) said “That sounds like a wonderful idea. It’s something we are looking into.”
- Question: “Will there be any trade-down system for useless cobalt cards?” – Yes, it is something that is being worked on, however it won’t be any time in the next few weeks, but should be in the near future.
- NO plans for servers above 8v8. (Also, no plans to add more than 3 slots for merc loadouts in a game)
- Fletcher fixes are on the way! …soon.
- Question: “Are you doing anything about spawn camping?” – YES! Matchmaking will be improved and this should help greatly. Other solutions to it are being discussed.
- Question: “Will the intro video to games ever be turned off once you reach a certain level?” – No, they will never be turned off/disabled. They are kept in as an extra ‘loading screen’, because if they were removed, you would simply be stood at spawn unable to move for the same time-frame.
- Question: “Will the mercs be back on a 2 week schedule?” – We cannot confirm or deny!
- Question: “Any plans for a non-human merc, due to the radiation?” – There certainly isn’t any plans for this right now. However they are “open to ideas” and there is certainly room in the Dirty Bomb narrative for non-human or mutant mercs.
- Question: “Are there ANY plans for a deathmatch or TDM mode?” – There is absolutely NO plans for this in the near future. “Who knows what the future might bring” though…
