50,000 to 60,000 Beta Release In Mid April On File Planet

Looks to me like things are going to be delayed, the clan testing we all thought was ongoing seems to maybe just be starting, if it has yet. The “open” beta test will follow surely, but seems like it might be a while yet. I think the clan invitation had an even bigger response than Activision was anticipating and that and server setup will delay game till June - July at earliest.

Either that, or instead of the “open” beta, they’ve just increased the size of the invite-only clan beta to accept more of the original applicants…

FYI for anyone that subscribed, and only intended on a one month subscription…think again

even if you sign up for monthly, unless you cancel 5 days before the end of the month it automatically charges you for another month, and you can’t do anything about it.

Sure you can. Charge back any charges made to your credit card.

SOE did that crap back when I made the mistake of trying out Star Wars Galaxies when it first came out.

I canceled my account on the last day of the subscription and they said that I was still going to be charged for the next month. I said “no I’m not”, called my CC provider told them to charge back any charges from SOE made on or after that date. Never heard a word from SOE about it.
