5 Things to consider in the next update

I’ve been playing this game for a while and this are the things that i would like to see in a next update.

1.- Default loadouts order set in rarity.

I always have to do this when i go to my inventory, really.

2.- Put a point light in the olde flashlight trinket.

This is the trinket that everyone has and would look great with some light

3.- Add a revives indicator.

this can be helpful for medics and for new players to understand that revives give you great score too like normal killing.

4.-add the “treat or trick motherfucker” to phantom when kill somebody with melee.

i always expected that this were in the game sounds, especially after seeing the trailer of this game.

5.- Give a different sound to friendly phantoms when they are invisible.

this will prevent some confusion with friendly phantoms.

  1. this has been an unintentional bug as it used to sort by rarity and is intended to, it’ll be fixed for the next patch hopefully :smile:

  2. dynamic light tracking the trinkets position would probably be costly in terms of fps, and im not even sure how easy that is to implement in the unreal engine, its a nice idea but not practical in terms of the probable performance hit sadly :worried:

  3. it would almost prioritise medics if we only highlighted revives. all mercs are very useful in most situations so i think leaving it out would be better because we’d have to add things like objectives completed, objectives destroyed, support xp gained etc. to make every teamplayer recognised

  4. the video cannot be played as it is private but the voice overs can always be added in and sometimes creep in with patch notes :smile: it might deem a bit more vulgar than the current voice overs in game however

  5. thats a fair point but with experience you should be able to just know there’s a phantom near you thats friendly using the radar and spacial awareness :smile:

  1. yeah, surely they will return to leave it like it was before.

  2. I think the same but perhaps they could put a part in the video configuration as “trinkets effects”, for those who has a less powerful PC’s can turn off =?, the last game where I saw "trinkets " It was in blacklight retribution, no effects in the trinkets but it looked good.

  3. Now that you mention it you’re right, I would still like to see a little more detail when it comes to finish a game, perhaps a typical button “see more” or “more details” would not be bad.

5)people i know rarely use the map or minimap, and even I sometimes get confused when there is more of a phantom in the two teams xD

I completely removed any reference to either the tab or mini-map from my UI. It helps keep your FPS more consistent and I never used them. Also, by default, the mini-map rotates which has to be the most annoying thing in gaming IMO when it comes to maps. Luckily you can change the map to not rotate in your config.

A agree with 1,4 and 5.

My list.

  1. Bring back the final score screen in the end of the match, witch you could also see the best medic and engineer of the match.
  2. Fix thunder hit box. This merc is a mess but the hit box is all over the place.
  3. Fix EV seizure inducing bug.
    4) Fix MM on ranked. Stop Parties of 5 vs Solo players.
  4. Not important, but i would love to have special weapons matching the loudouts. I remember this idea being talked on the dev’s stream but never again.

This, thousand times this. Every time phantoms are on free rotation, the pub matches become nerve wrecking. The last thing i need is thinking that i;m stalked by the enemy, while it is just one of my own team running around.

They should implement something like what wolfenstein enemy territory had.
At the end of the match, it would show the best engineer, best medic etc.
It would encourage people to become the best with their specialisation.

I actually asked Galavant to implement the “Trick or treat, motherfucker” line into the game next patch, he said we should get it.

…a 5x5 light on the side of your gun will not decrease your FPS any more than 4 airstrikes wont. You’re reaching for excuses.

  1. That inventory mix is confirmed to be a bug, and should hopefully be fixed in the next update.

  2. On high settings, it does glow. You can see it on the side of your gun. :slight_smile:

  3. I’ve been wanting revives on the scoreboard for a long time :frowning: I think focus is on other core gameplay aspects right now, but hopefully something we’ll see in the future! The reason they haven’t done so thus far is because, where do you stop? Should we add arms/disarms to the scoreboard for engineers? Amount of spots a recon makes? How much health you give someone? All equally valid and crucial parts of the score for a specific class.

  4. Galavant (sound designer for DB) said he was doing this :wink:

  5. Agreed. It would be nice if friendly Phantom’s just didn’t make a sound, full-stop. There’s no need for team-mates to “hear” their own Phantom. Just seems silly to me. :s

  3. I like the idea to show the best engineer,medic,assault,etc like in wolfenstein enemy territory but now we just have to wait i think.
