I don’t mind if she’s the next merc but I do hope the devs do something about “making it too obvious that’s she’s a recon with a sniper rifle” because new player would think that "She’s a recon with a sniper rifle?..Then she’s a sniper ! I’d be MLG with her! INSTA BUY COMING UP !!!

One would also hope that she’d require more skill to play than Vaseline.

Since Vasilli is on permanent Sale, I don’t think there’ll ever be a case of new players picking her over him. But there’s always those people who have to run both Vasilli and RedEye in their squad (you know who you are). There’s no helping that.

I sure wouldn’t mind an actual good Recon (not saying Vasilli can’t be good, but RedEye and Phantom are bad, and Vasilli doesn’t appeal to me).
Do we know what ability Aimee will have?

OT I am pretty sure Turtle will be released first because last time we heard about Aimee, they were still rebuilding her ability as far as I remember. Turtle seems to be pretty much finished with maybe a minor tweak here and there so there’s that.

From what ive found about her character, she seems - no offense - pretty much useless. (camera? this is not Splinter Cell :neutral: ) I will try to remain optimist however, and trust the devs to come up with something nice. It would be cool if she would bring a new gun aswell, something spicy. (and not my behated PDP, i have a feeling thats gonna be it tho -.-")

I’m hoping that she’ll have a bolt action sniper in her mix, so that she’ll be used competively. It’s akin to csgo players choosing awps over those semi-auto snipers.

It’s actually a full auto sniper (terrifying I know), and the reason it’s not used is normally because it’s considered in bad taste. Teams will use it if they need to though.

As well as because the AWP can one hit. The only issue being if you miss your shot against an auto nine out of ten times you’re dead.

Edit: Plus the auto costs 800$ more which could equate to a smoke and two flash grenades. Not to mention if you die with the auto then your enemy has It and you just significantly hurt your economy.

No…It’s the title. If it wasn’t the title it would just read “When is aimee returning devs?” because, aside from pushing a gender-driven agenda of some sort, the first portion lends nothing relevant to the discussion.

@Ctrix Uh, Vaseline is for Sniping and Redeye is for melee only sprees. Always got2B redy 2 bust out sum mlg action.

@MrDubstab Anytime they drop an unsubtle hint it usually indicates that’s not the case. They like to trick us before release and keep us not knowing who it is.
