- Your K D means NOTHING
You can have the best score on both teams but if you lack tactics and teamwork you will lose, always. That is the primary point of the game, Tactics > DM every single time
- Communication is key
If you’re coming to play this game and be a jack ass while everyone else is trying to take it seriously, get out. No, seriously, get the fuck out. Your idea of fun is clearly not this game, if you wanna goof around and get away with it go play something else. This game is all about working together, and the fun of the game comes from satisfaction you get when your plan comes together. So you have to use your mic, you have to talk to each other and come up with a plan. And that feeling of winning when the odds are stocked against you, pure awesomeness.
- Your aim needs work
Aim for the head
Most guns you can spray even, mostly up close, at a distance, tap it to control the recoil, but keep aiming at the head. Only use your sights at mid to long range, and when you are behind some cover. Mobility and tracking (following the enemy with your mouse rather than twitching toward them), are the most vital aspects of the gunplay in Dirty Bomb. So no, nobody’s hacking, you just need to learn how to aim properly.
- Do your job
If you’re playing Aura, don’t plant, Revive, heal, keep your time alive at all costs, that is your number 1 priority. She’s a Medic, so heal. And as of matter of fact, just in case you are unaware, here are the classes by category and their jobs.
Recon - Vasilli
Those motion sensors? Throw them out, constantly, keep your team updated as much as possible on where the enemy is. Killing them simply isn’t enough, you need to be relaying information to your team at all times.
Medic - Sawbonez and Aura
As I said before, revive and heal, do not combat people unless you have to, your job is to keep the push or the hold going, and the only to do that is to keep everyone in tip top shape.
Artillery - Skyhammer and Arty
Keep your team mates supplied with ammo, throw down those packs as often as possible. As ammo is very scarce and easy to drain when you’re fighting enemies. That, and the EV, keep hitting that thing, constantly, do not stop till it is up in smoke.
Engineer - Fletcher, Proxy, and Bushwhacka
Your job is simple, on offense, go for plants, constantly, if you die while planting, then try again, your goal is to get those bombs planted.
On defense, cover the objective, do not wander, anywhere where the enemy has to plant a bomb, your ass better be there.
Assault - Fragger and Nader
Now, these guys, KILL EVERYTHING
Keep the enemy from getting bunched up, do not waste your explosives on single enemies, throw or launch them at groups. Your goal is to scatter the enemy and force them to break off into smaller groups, which makes them easier to kill.
To sum it up, do your job, plain and simple, the objective is what wins the game, nothing else matters.
- If this isn’t the game for you, then one of two things
One, leave, get out, because nobody wants to put up with your bitching
Or two, learn the game, it’s an acquired taste, but you might find out you like it. You might be surprised how fast this game grows on you when you get it down. And eventually, every other game like Battlefield and Call of Duty will seem like childs play.
CAUSE IT IS, this is a man’s shooter, or womans
This is no kiddie’s sandbox, it’s time to get shit done, so get out there and kick some ass while you’re at it.
Sorry for the tough love, but I felt like this was needed. Have fun, and get on the damn point.
