4 detailed Merc suggestions

(knowledgeableGable) #1

Name: Weldon
Type: Objective
Age: 37
Gender: Male
Nationality: Siberian

Health: 130
Movement speed: 385

“Am I too hot for you? Because my baby does melt steel beams”

Description: Clad in combat adjusted welding gear, ex-deep sea welder Weldon is a slow but durable objective player. He lacks the mobility or point-defence capabilities of most objective classes, but makes up with this with an unforgiving kit that makes him a far greater menace than other objective Mercs.

Ability: Thermite charge: The thermite charge is both his alternative C4 and his ability. The thermite charge is far more dangerous than a C4 charge. Once it is attached to its surface, it will start burning up the thermite in its core. Reaching unimaginable temperatures, the charge makes short work of EV armor, walls and generators, though it cannot be used on containers.

What distinguishes the Thermite Charge from C4 is that it first of all sends out a heated jet of debris, doing decent damage to enemies passing it allowing you to force enemies into open fire lest they be melted. But its most important property is that aside from being usable on EV’s, destroying them within seconds, it will permanently damage walls and generators. Letting this slow carry get through too often will inevitably end up in your downfall, since removing his charges will not set back the progress of the previous ones.

Weaponry: A big card in Weldon’s deck is his heavy arsenal. All weapons with unknown names will be explained below.

Main weaponry: Deumil, K-121, Timyk

Side weapons: S&W, Tolen (only with K-121), Caulden

Melee weapon: Welding torch, no others available.

Name: Anasthasia
Type: Medic

Age: 57
Gender: female
Nationality: Belgium, the french part of it

Health: 100
Movement speed: 430

“They say I have no feelings for anything. Thats preposterous! I am the one who makes others feel nothing”

Description: A gray haired ex-combat medic, Anasthasia got bored of her early retirement and joined the fray. She is an push-focussed medic. She has less revive power or healing power than other medics, but makes up for this with the additional effects of her abilities.

Ability 1: Morphine: A slow healing syringe jab. It has the negative of requiring you to be within melee range and having a low amount of healing power, but it redeems itself in giving a 5 second lasting damage reduction of 40%. In tandem with a Rhino, this can lead to absolutely devestating pushes. Note: cannot reduce damage beneath 7 per shot.

Ability 2: Adrenaline: The adrenaline syringe cannot be charged, and therefor is stuck at a 50% revive. It does however give someone a short lasting movement speed boost of 15%, capping at 55 extra speed.

Main weaponry: Pro-9, Hochfir, Remburgh-7

Side weapons: whatever fits

Melee weapons: Normal selection

  1. (note, i know this is a popular idea and has been suggested in multiple forms)

Name: Breetsh
Type: Combat

Age: 61
Gender: Male
Nationality: American

Health: 165
Movement speed: 355

“Some people think I am all brawn. And some people don’t understand what SWAT stands for”

Description: Standing at a massive height of 2m20, Breetsh is a force to be reckoned with. A dedicated SWAT leader, Breetsh was forced into retirement against his will. But you cannot stop willpower, and he went to Londen, carrying his old SWAT gear along with his trusty 25kg shield with him. He is meant to waltz through enemy lines as an unstoppable force. He is a direct counter to area-denial abilities. Don’t get in his way, because this manly man with his full grey beard will roll right over you

Ability 1: Bulwark: A collapsible and massive shield that breetsh always carries with him. It folds open upon use to better cover his flank, and has wheels on it to make it easier to move. Bullets ricochet of the shield making Rhino a very bad idea. He is slowed down considerably and has significantly slower turn speed so he relies heavily on his team to prevent people flanking him.

Ability 2: Flak jacket: to add the cherry on top, Breetsh his armor is comparable to that of bomb-disposal units. As such, it has a very high resistance to explosives.

weapons: Anhulds, Shorts, Hollunds
Sidearms: Tolen, MP400, .50 DE
Melee weapons: Bat, knife, breaching hammer

Name: Empie
Type: Objective

Age: 33
Gender: female
Nationality: Spanish

Health: 90
movement speed: 440

“I am the definition of using negative consequence to deter negative behavior”

Description: A slighly mad engineer, Empie is on the run from the goverment after destroying half of Madrids electronics using an illegally made EMP mine. She is designed to shut down progress, more than making it.

Ability: EMP bomb: The EMP bomb can shortly shut down objective timers and EV’s, along with rendering turrets and healing stations useless and detonating mines.

Ability 2: augmented objective specialist: Aside from the usual boost, as long as she is the one doing the defusing, a C4 cannot explode while she has her hands on it. though it will still tick, it will be stuck on the end untill someone removes her from the equation.

Name: Mopozo (russian word for frost: MopoЗ)
Type: Combat

Age: 17
Gender: male
nationality: Russian

Health: 120
movement speed: 440

“Cold? You know nothing of cold”

Description: Mopozo is a prodigy. At age of 17, he is already part of the Spetznas. However, he wanted more, and therefor joined the fray at London. He uses grenades that spread a blanket of cold mist over the floor. Aside from covering him when he is crouching, enemies caught in the mist will be slowed down substantially and will instantly be finished if they die in it. He uses a new arsenal of weapons, all of russian craftmanship

Ability: Frostbite grenade: this unique smoke grenade stops any enemy approach by blanketing a significant area in a slowing mist that kills of stragglers. It is made to halt pushes and to intercept rushers. It temporarily disables enemy mines while hiding friendly mines

Weapons: Valhalla, Cinder, TAP-94/ Saskia
normal selection of side and melee weapons

WEAPON LIST:

Deumil: a contraction on the actual name of the gun it represents: The F2000, or its official name, Fusil deux-mille. This FN assault rifle might catch a lot of flak from Americans for not looking like an AR15 derivative, but it boasts the highest rate of fire out of all assault rifles, having 800 rounds per minute, but also a low damage of 10. This still does give it a very high amount of damage per second, but will require very frequent reloads.

Pro-9: Obvious reference to P90. Big magazine, low damage, good rate of fire.

Shorts: your standard double-barrel shotgun, preferably sawn off version.

Valhalla: The integrally silenced AS VAL is always welcome in a game. average rate of fire, good stopping power but a very small magazine. It is on par with the dreiss for DPS, but with a much higher rate of fire and equal magazine size it requires far more frequent reloads

Cinder: The almighty ASh12.7. It is a crime on itself that so few games included this beast of a gun. It does a smashing 30 damage per shot while having the same rate of fire as the Dreiss. it does however have significanlty longer reload times along with an unforgiving recoil.

TAP-94: AN-94. 2 burst shot, nuff’ said

Saskia: SKS. semi-automatic, 280 rate of fire, and hard hitting bullets.

Welding torch; light attack is a continues fire stream doing 80 damage per second, heavy attack is a canister smash doing 60 damage.

Breaching hammer: incredibly slow and bulky, but hits like a truck.
