3D Wolfenstein ET

(Wezelkrozum) #1

I just tried something out. It’s a way you can view 3D images of Wolfenstein ET. Here are some images which you can view with the crosseye-method. For an instructionvideo how to see with the crosseye-method you can click on this link on youtube:

This is my first attempt to make 3D images. I know not every detail is viewable.

Don’t worry if it you can’t get your eyes right, or get pain in your eyes. There is also a mirror method. Place a small mirror exactly in the middle of the 2 images with the mirror at the left side. Now place your nose against the mirror and look to the right image. Shift the mirror a bit, so that the 2 images will fall perfectly over each other.

I hope you liked the 3D pictures!

I’m glad you like it!
You won’t need to cross your easy with the mirror method. Just look at the right image, so that your left eye sees the left image mirrored:wink:

you use a special grafix driver for this - or make them manually?

sry dont get it … maybe my eyes got an error xD

Error 404: Eyes not found

I make them manually.

Open W:ET 2 times. Open a map as you always do in ET 1. And enter the local server in ET 2.
Then Walk to a place in ET 1 and disable gun drawing and hud.
Click in ET 2 so you follow the player in ET 1. Disable the hud and jump so you get out of the player. Then /noclip so you can’t bounch to any wall. Keep go up and down till you are as high as the view of ET 1. Then go to the right.
Place ET 1 at the left side of your screen and place ET 2 at the right side.

Now look crosseye and move the ET 2 till you can see 3D.

I guess you looked this way ? -->
lol:tongue:

isn’t there a Q3 3D mod?
Not that sure but I think you need a very fast gfx card that can display at least constantly 50 fps.
25 fps for each eye.

Not really. I have 90 fps at both windows (and 90fps locked).
How do you think I made that screenshot in scene from contest with 3 players in view? With 4 windows. Ok, then my fps will drop:wink:
