someone on the urbanterror forum refered me here:

i was wondering if there is a way to create a map, or at least the general geometries in max or autocad and then import it into a more quake specific editor/compiler?

I believe this is a file showing what you’re asking. I think YDNAR put it together as a test. It is a compile using an ASE from 3dsMax. Load it up, run around, and be amazed. I have not been able to reproduce these results with clipping ASE files. But it is beautiful!
