360 version is Awful

This game is really an afterthought on the Xbox 360. Crappy textures, low FPS, lag in over half the matches I play; you guys really spent no time at all on the 360 version. I am telling everyone I know not to buy Brink.

Or you could wait for the patch that’s promised for tomorrow (or very soon) that will fix all of those issues.

you might be doing yourself out of a very fine game once it’s had a little polish.

Low FPS? Wha? When does it happen so I can see. I haven’t seen any FPS drops yet and I’ve done all of the missions, done the challenges and I’ve yet to experience an FPS drop. The lag I can understand and the textures I overlook. But I haven’t seen a game with crappy Frame rates since Two Worlds.

Too laggy for me just yet, though I did get a good ten minutes without lag and I didn’t notice FPS drops.

My FPS is fantastic on the box. Never does it skip a beat even in heavy combat. Lag is 50/50, but they’ve promised to address that and it seems SD’s track record is good.

I’m giving them a very fair chance to implement some changes. I have faith they will pull through they seem like awesome people, and we have a really good base here. Brink is just a few patches away from being epic fun in my opinion.

For those of us who love Brink and will stick with it, we only need to ignore the trolls (naturally) and continue to express our wishes.

As long as we repeat what we want changed and continue to voice our opinions. There are some great ideas on these forums and if they are implemented Brink will become a classic that I for one will play for years.

not having any huge problems with xbox… and have not seen any FPS drops…
only the online lag thats sucks a bit…
but still think that COD was more *****ed up at the launch

I second this. I’d love to see it! Not that I don’t believe any of you guys but it’d be cool to see it for my own eyes, I am going out to rent this soon so if there is a patch which solves everything soon then that rent may have to be turned into a purchase!

All I really have to say is well done to Splash damage, they’ve listened to the community about these issues and are working their hardest to fix it.

There will never be a patch to fix the horrible Graphics…Maybe the texture streaming issue, but it still looks ugly like hell and is way too dark.

Did you really think you could make a game that is massively multiplayer come out with so many issues?!
That borders on insulting the playes IMO!
