360 FPS needs looking at up up up

The FPS needs at least another 10-20 fps second I dont like cod but it is silky smooth, this game is grinding at best. Apart from the texture pop ups (update did nothing) It so hard to tell who is AI and who is real and setting up a fireteam, how do you know they joined with running around and looking for a purple sign? We need patches and updates pronto!!!

Come on splash you can do it.

The game actually quite good, first off get an increase in FPS!!!

I wont mention Lagg as we know it is atrocious

ISnt the lag on xbox due to people hosting 16 player server on their 0.5mbit upload.

Likely. You can’t seem to choose host. Or at least, I’d love an explanation from someone at SD on how you can make sure you are host if you have a good connection. If I could host every game I would. I’ve got 5 up.

Who knows how they optimized the game and its host selection. If its whoever is the first to start a new game is the host, that’s not a good idea. I can’t believe they’d do that with P2P though. You can’t just let everyone be host.

I don’t know what the minimum upload they optimized for. Is it region filtered? Am I playing people on another continent, etc.

Ok, I don’t play COD, so I can’t use that as a reference point, but I do play LFD2 and I don’t notice significantly lower FPS on Brink. However, I’m also not having the crazy lag problems that many people are having. Therefore I would suppose that the FPS problems are some how related to the lag

360 user here, not sure if you guys have already tried this but I installed to the xbox’s hard drive and it runs pretty good from there, usually only have graphic issues on narrative cutscenes (ex: showing objectives in “be more objective” challenge) and only a handful of times in 50+ hours put in. (I was home recovering from a minor surgery last week sooooooo… lol not much else to do) Anyways, try installing tohard drive if you haven’t already, hope it helps!

I will try the installation thing but i think it still needs a lot of optimising, running in corridors then going our doors there is a massive difference in fps, and when more than 5 people are fighting it out…

its not lag, that does not affect your fps.
