More than 2/3 of the player that cared about the Burst Rifle change are unhappy with it or downright HATE it.

If 2/3 of a countries population hates a party and then that party gets elected and becomes the leading one, there has to be something wrong, no? Or if 2/3 of the people taking my medication would get bad side effects, I wouldn’t much money off it and eventually take it off the market, no? Actually I don’t think I’d ever produce more than the initial pills.
2/3 is ALOT, especially considering that only about 5% of the total voters in the survey find the change to be good.

While I love that you are excluding all of the people who didn’t care about the change it still does matter that they don’t care. Their lack of stance on the subject makes it a change that doesn’t really polarize opinion.

Those are the current poll results.
17.3% didn’t use burst fire rifles or didn’t care at all.

That means we have 82.7% worth of people who do use it putting in their opinion(if they aren’t lying).

Of those 25.5% said it either didn’t care or was great.

23.8% said it wasn’t great. They just didn’t like the changes.

Then 33.3% hate the changes and want them reverted. 40% of the people who had an opinion wanted it reverted. 60% of people had an opinion but didn’t demand the changes be reverted.

I am not stating my opinion on the changes. In the poll I voted that I didn’t use them/didn’t care. What I am against is people misrepresenting data and other players opinions. Where we do have access to this poll I intend to use it to help form a better understanding of the player base. I will do that to the best of my ability by not misrepresenting the data made available through the efforts of @Faraleth and the community members who were thoughtful enough to spend time giving their opinion.

Personally, I like the changes to the burst rifles (speaking for the BR-16 as I don’t use the Stark). The slower rate of fire encourages you to place shots better and not just spray like you would with an automatic. The burst rifles should be mid-range weapons you use ducking in and out of cover to get bursts off. You shouldn’t be able to compete with the SMGs and assault rifles at close range. The only reason you can is because of the burst weapons’ high dps.
