"30 seconds, c'mon move it!" sound when last 30 secs of map

Hello
Am making nice pk3 file with 30 sec sound(30 seconds cutting from Lord of the Rings soundtrack) when there is last 30 seconds of the map. At that time there is one guy saying "30 seconds, c’mon move it!. Mu cutting lasts exactly 27 seconds so I want to add that guy saying it but…there is no such sound in my mod folder :confused: It should be in sound/vo/general/allies(axis) but it isn’t. The funny thing is that I can’t find him elswhere also…so where on earth can be?

PS What I love and dislove about playing around ET is that no matter what, it always surprises you with sth. You may be 100% sure you know how make some thing but always sth comes up, like that “mysterious sound”:slight_smile:

I don’t get what you mean…The sounds are located in sound/vo/general/allies(axis) and they are named hq_30seconds_a/b.
You can also tweak the .sounds file in sound/scripts/vo_allies(axis).
Where you can set a path to your new sound without erasing previous one:wink:

// thirty seconds, c'mon move it
allies_hq_30seconds
{
	sound sound/path_to_your_sound
	sound sound/path_to_your_alternative_sound
	voice
	streaming
}

Note that you can set up as much different sounds as you want by adding or removing a line starting by “sound”.

There isn’t. In noquarter_v1.2.5.pk3 all ive got in sound/vo/general/allies(axis) is:

I can see these lines:

but ive got nth of hq_30seconds_a.wav, hq_2minutes_a.wav or hq_5minutes_a.wav in the noquarter mod folder

This is surely because those were not modified,noquarter also uses sources from pak0.pk3:rolleyes:
