For those who dont get it. âLa perfide Albionâ is a french expression meaning âEnglandâ and by extensions Great britain/United Kingdom.
It comes from the latin perfidus which means : traitorous unfaithful dishonest deceitful anyway you get it.
And Albion comes from Albus which means white. why white? Its because when you go to England from France the first thing youll see of England are white cliffs of Dover composed of white Chalk , you can even see them from the land in certain place of France like Cap Gris.

Well⊠historically, the British have always hated the French for some reason, so it makes sense. But I thought Vassili was Italian until I saw his Prime Suspect bio.
