3 keybinds that are needed asap...

(Looms) #1

Thank you, need ammo and need medic. Really, pressing c 2 2 every time i need ammo (not that someone will drop it, its like playing bf again) is annoying. Same for medkits. And yes, i am using voip but not all the time.

(Rehoma) #2

People are still learning the game and adjusting to it. Give others time to learn how to properly supply you and your other teammates.

I see no problem in pressing these voip commands in game.

(B_Montiel) #3

You’re probably able to bind them directly through the console.

(Swanidius) #4

Its like playing ET again*

(APRenpsy) #5

They should have markers on top of teammates that indicate they are low on ammo. Or is that in the game already and I’m thinking of something else?

(Rokkamaisteri) #6

I really wish to have quick binds for these two requests. It was horrible to try beg ammo when forced to fight without any.

(Szakalot) #7

give it a couple days and everyone will dish out ammo like free candy

(NEWater) #8

I make it a point to spam my ammo button on spawn so everyone in the team can pick that goodness up before coming into contact with the enemy.

Have no idea why nobody else does it. Don’t you want free exp?

(Alchemy) #9

I would love if I could rebind the commands to different keys * cough* vgs cough

They also resupply fairly quickly, so you’ll have the next one ready whenever somebody still needs them in battle.

I wouldn’t mind an above-head indicator when somebody asks for ammo or health, it’s already somewhat hard to identify who’s who and where, but automatically prompting for those I personally find out of question. I was already negatively surprised after seeing you regain health automatically, but whatever, times change.

And yeah, I’m all for bindable vgs.

There is… when you’re down to a single magazine on your current gun or lower you get a bullet indicator similar to the need-healing/medic who can revive you cross above characters, its just up to players to realize this and take note.

(Nail) #12

and have those graphics turned on

Oh ok, knew I was thinking of a different game lol. That being said they should increase the threshold to the person having two magazines left. Very rarely does someone really survive with one magazine left.

Personally I find it more effective to use a mic, and when you need ammo and see a player that can dispense it, call out their username and ask for it. This usually makes them stop in their tracks and if they’re not a jerk they will give you ammo. I usually find jumping around in their face works too

(xMrMeow) #15

ye i really like that idea, binding callouts to keys would be very nice, sometimes the mic is hard to hear over other the game volume but i always hear the callouts

(Ceres) #16

I was thinking about that too. I don’t recall seeing it in game though

(Nail) #17

depending on graphics settings, I believe they exist, or did at one time

(artfulSedan) #18

agree something like medic or ammo should be either on a button or accesible through a radial menu. what about a contextual button when you press it your character says something corresponding to the situation: if he’s injured = MEDIC, if he is low on ammo= Ammo, if he got either health or ammo recently= thank you, made a kill = taunt , spawn = warcry, etc. etc. normal voice commands would still be aviable. and could you rename ‘team’ to answeres or responds in the voice menu?

(Looms) #19

How about DB version of commo rose ?
