2nd beta of "Crown Village"

So, I improved the 1st beta and here are the results:

Changes:

[ul][li]Fixed annoying gate texture (near 1st allied spawn)
[/li][li]Added 2 new building to the scene (one bombed and enterable, other normal and not enterable)
[/li][li]Added 1 extra room in the flat (with MG42 and supply cabbinets)
[/li][li]Added constructable barrier (satchel destroyable) in the last gate
[/li][li]Changed command map (maybe you wont like it so I will make a patch in no time)[/ul]
[/li]
Maybe some bugs are still not fixed, please report 'em to me.
Send suggestions what you want and what you dont want to see/have on this map

The terrain looks a bit empty. No rocks or trees or whatever.
I would look around and try to find some things where you can add some details.
To lets say, pimp it a bit more. :stuck_out_tongue:

i remember from your first version that the rain wasn’t always correct. i mean it was only raining at one specific spot. dunno if that’s still the case ^^ anyway, still looks like a cool map, but a bit too straightforwaded perhaps?

Yeah rain was only above the bunker and flaks. I just changed the trace map and wolla. Yeah its a bit straight so i added the fencing. BTW do you like the new room?

I an on my way to beta 3 now.
Possible updates:

Tested beta 2 on a clean installation, a lot of textures are still missing.
Don’t know what’s wrong, the textures are included. :frowning:

Noticed that you’re using the snow version of the truck. Please use the normal version who is already stored in pak0.pk3, fits better in the map.
And please don’t use desert textures like on the top of the building. The style does not really fit to the other textures. Somewhere in pak0 is a temperate version of this texture.

thanks for reply, I know i am using snow version of the truck, ill fix it. I will look into these room textures and see what i can do

well i also have problems with my textures when creating the pk3

EDIT: there is a prfeab of a rotating light, it could save you a lot of time using it (perhpas that was your plan … aaaaaaaaaannyway, keep us updated 8) )
