They are still working on a fix for the bugged/idle audio of Rhino’s minigun upon respawning if you spectate a Rhino spinning the barrel of his minigun.
Simple solution: remove the minigun and make Rhino an interesting merc.
The Phoenix cooldown penalty upon charging then switching weapon is SUPPOSED to happen and this will not change. It draws from the same concept of Fragger’s grenade.
If it was a similar concept to Fragger’s grenade we’d at least get part of the cooldown back. As it is right now you have to wait the full duration of a heal’s cooldown.

So if it draws from the same concept of Fragger’s grenade, how come it doesn’t release the “pulse” when you switch weapons? In effect you just activate the cool down without even healing anyone.

I think just overall costumes/skins would fit this game quite well. Like not CS:GO weapon skins or anything but whole skins like in MOBA’s (e.g. League of Legends). Something like the founders obsidian cards and how they change the whole model yet still fit the game quite nicely. Maybe make a trade up with cobalts into one special reskin of the whole character? Idk how you would change abilities so that probably won’t be a thing. Though I was thinking of a (probably impractical) idea where maybe there could be a pirate event where all the mercs got reskinned or something or a pirate map where everyone gets pirate themed skins and abilities. Probably waaaaay too much work though.

@Octosquid I’d imagine skins like this are planned - I know they said they had some other skins and stuff in the pipe-line. It’s unlikely we will see them until post-launch though.

Good job as always Faraleth. I really hope that SD DO NOT allow Martyrdom while alive, it will be utter hell and destruction in the merc discussions section.
