28th September - 1st October Dev/Nexon Stream Questions

Well this is embarrasing… I forgot it was Sunday yesterday. Guess it’s time to make a thread for this week’s Dev/Nexon stream questions!

If anyone has any specific questions about the game, or possible ideas (pretty much anything you can think of), post them here and I will have this to look through during the stream’s Q&A sections.

Before asking, don’t forget to check out this recent thread I made: http://forums.dirtybomb.nexon.net/discussion/17544/dev-nexon-stream-faq It details all the general FAQ’s from the dev/Nexon streams.

If possible, I’d like to request people not reply to people’s questions on this thread in order to keep it cleaner and allow the questions to stand out. If you wish to discuss any particular topic someone on this thread may raise, instead of replying here, make a new discussion if there isn’t one on the subject already! :slight_smile: I’d appreciate is people could adhere to it. Thanks!

If people continue to find this useful, I will carry on doing these weekly threads for the foreseeable future, as I feel last week’s thread was quite a big success! <3

Ah… I don’t know maybe…

Will there ever be joke events? (Like BDay events in which weapons will fire fireworks and stuff like that)

Also, are there plans to nerf Fragger even further?

I know we’re not supposed discuss here but this is another example: a weekend when all loadout cards are transformed into cobalts would be nice :slight_smile:

I like the idea, but whats the point… You would probably be showing off more with gold card than with cobalt one :S

Anyways, I know this isn’t disscussion thread, so if I get an idea for question I’ll edit it here :smile:

Here are my questions :

  • Is giving another SMG to Aura, Fletcher and Proxy something that could happen in the future ?
  • Still no Blishlok buff planned ?
  • Are more loadout skins incoming (for Silver, Gold or Cobalt) ?

With the last patch, phantom received a small buff. But a lot of people are still not happy with it. What can we expect with the next patch regarding phantom?

What information are the Devs using to determine that the Grandeur is in a good place? I’ve seen approximately 0 Red Eyes this week and 0 Grandeurs this month.

make turret receive damage only when fully deployed many times they get destroyed before even full operational

blood on screen masks k/d top right who killed who

also give u option for chat to display more message and longer same for who killed who top right

and OMG make font bigger in chat

Are mercs with mobility enhancing abilities like a grappling hook or jetpacks possible within current maps?

Question: Once all the Closed Beta mercs are released, are there going to be any new mercs and will they be taken from suggestions in the forums?

Are devs going to implement some sort of “Slide maneuvers” for every merc?

Will the update times (update per 2 weeks) change after exiting Open Beta?

will there ever be server info in game (ingame lobby / menu)? want to see servername, ip, location.

will the forum be updated? (useable code window, better working bb-codes (like link highlighting, different font colors and sizes)

Since my question was not asked/ answered last week, I am posting it again. (Are there any rules about what questions are asked btw? So I just know if to bother asking?)

  • Would you guys consider enabling pause function in competitive MM?

And one I consider very important:

  • Would you guys be willing to provide official answers on following feedback thread? It is a list of feedback that is basically approved by all high level competitive players? We understand you want to keep the game somehow open for general play. But feedback from this group of players should not be ignored and at least should be answered as to why some opinions/ suggestions would be ignored.

I’ll try and summarise this response in one post. If any of you wish to actually discuss these issues then please make a separate thread to do so, thanks! :slight_smile:

@gg2ez They confirmed there WILL be more mercs after all the current planned ones are released, however they will likely be more spaced out. No details at all on this yet though, but they do “have plans”. :slight_smile:

@prothis There are considerations under-way in regards to Arty and Kira getting indoor viability. I’m fairly certain they confirmed it was actually being worked on too, but I will double check this week for you. :slight_smile:

@Pecka Nope, no “rules” on questions, however all I ask is that people read the FAQ before asking… because their question might be answered there. :stuck_out_tongue: As for it not being answered last week, I try to get around to all the questions I can, but sometimes they get missed D: I think your question was asked, but they gave a pretty “meh” answer to it that wasn’t really worth noting down. I will prioritise your questions this week! ^.^

I’d like to know if they are thinking about adding a new game mode other than execution (that i dislike personally but w/e), more specifically i’m thinking about capture the flag.
