2560x1600 windowed (Devs please help)

Ok so Brink apperantly does not support eyefinity. I wish it did but I understand alot of fps developers choose not to for balace reasons or w/e. but I would really appriciate it if you would at least tell me how/put in the option to run the game at 2560x1600 windowed, that way I could at least run the maximum supported resolution.

atm the game simply will not give me the option to run 2560x1600 windowed I can selec t one or the other and 2560x1600 fullscreen simply makes my monitor display an out of range error because the game tries to run at 2560x1600 on one of my three screens.

I really like the game but playing it it a tiny window just is not cutting it so any help you can offer would be greatly appriciated.

You can bring down the console and use r_mode to set the resolution in the game.

Use listmodes to display a list of resolutions in the console.

Try this at your own risk, not all resolutions may be supported.

You can also set a custom height/width in pixels. Again, that is to be used at your own risk and we can’t guarantee perfect results. I’d recommend not playing with the below values unless you know what you’re doing.

First, set r_mode -1. Next, customize the following values.

r_customAspectRatioH (e.g. 16)
r_customAspectRatioW (e.g. 10)
r_customHeight (e.g. 1050)
r_customWidth (e.g. 1680)

Finally, r_fullscreen 1/0 toggles fullscreen.

** You’ll need to enter vid_restart to apply certain resolution changes. **

By any chance did this work for Eyefinity?

Brink supports eyefinity:

I got it working after playing with r_mode/r_aspectratio/r_customheight/r_customwidth/r_customaspectratioH/r_customaspectratioW

However, the performance on ATI cards is really bad right now. It’s not worth it to play Brink in Eyefinity atm. Once a CAP comes out for us crossfire users, this really could be sweet in eyefinity. But right now, I get maybe 45 fps on a 6990 because only one GPU is being used.
