2 small questions (founder tag and odds of getting into alpha)

Hey guys, I recently bought the veteran founder pack and there’s 2 things that I’d like to know.

1 - Since I bought the pack, shouldn’t I have the founder icon next to my name? It’s been like a week now so I figured I should have it by now but I don’t. (speaking of forum) When will I get it?

2 - I think the alpha thingy is rather vague right now. What are the odds of actually being invited to the alpha? Are you probably looking for more players to join you in the alpha testing before beta or have you got plenty?

I’m not sure if you get a Founders tag for the Veteran pack (or if you will at some point but not yet), but it doesn’t just appear by magic :slight_smile:

Go to My Dashboard (top right) then in the Settings box (left hand side down a bit) there’s an option called Permission Groups. In there are groups you have permission to assign yourself to. If you can at this stage get a Founders Tag there will be an option to do so in there.

Don’t think anyone else is getting invited to Alpha at the moment, but obviously I’m not SD so can’t say for sure.

Ah okay thanks! Well, it says on the dirtybomb site that I get the founder tags (both ingame and in forums) but it seems I haven’t received it yet then. Anyways thanks a lot for the information :slight_smile:

you should get tags either on access to alpha/beta or release

Will it be announced when Veteran and Elite will get to beta?
And is there any competion and teams already in the Alpha?

I would annoy the hell out of you…

Just saying, about the alpha, I’m not in it. Perhaps we shall see a tag for alpha/beta when those are finished though. Not that that is a personal achievement or anything, unlike being a founder which means you have payed.

Everyone in the Founder’s Club will get a tag eventually - right now it’s restricted to those who are actually playing the game for technical reasons, but we’re working on a way for all Founder’s Club members to get their tag on.

As for the Alpha, owners of the Legendary, Contributor and VIP Founder packs are getting instant access at the moment and they’ve been doing a great job providing feedback to the team (we’re rapidly approaching 20k posts and there’s plenty of Echo data too), helping us shape both gameplay and content. We may let more tiers into the alpha as we build capacity, and if that happens, existing pack owners will be first in line.

Please note that all members of the Founder’s Club are guaranteed access to the Closed Beta once that’s underway.
