2 ps3 pre orders bonuses

if i have two PS3’s and i want to order one preorder bonus for Doom and one preorder bonus for Psycho, could i share both characters with both PS3’s?

It would technically work if you were using the same account, but you would only be able to use the dlc with that one account. But that’s assuming characters are not stored on the PS3, but a Splash Damage server, which is likely the case.

on both PS3’s i am able to share my purchased dlc from Uncharted 2, Killzone 3, and Assassins Creed Brotherhood (maps and characters). i still need a game disc in each machine. in Brink, i want to play the Doom character on my PS3 against my son who wants the Psycho character on his PS3. his PS3 is on a sub account of mine.

I would say that the DLC would have to be per account, so one account could have one while the other has…the other. But I don’t know anything about how sub accounts work, so I’m not sure if they share licenses on download content. I guess if you could use other DLC on both the main and sub accounts, then you should be able to with Brink.

Actually, now that I think about it, I’m pretty sure that sub accounts can share not only DLC, but any content purchased on PSN. I remember a friend at work telling me her husband and his friend share the costs of PSN games, and other stuff like that, and can use them on their respective consoles. Playstation doesn’t lock the license on the hardware like Microsoft does, so it’s plausible.

EDIT: Just looked it up. You can share the content across 5 consoles that share your main account, and the content can be used by any sub accounts connected to that main account. So, the answer is yes.

i think i’m gonna go ahead and place one order with Amazon. and then i’ll run by my local GameStop and give them 5 bucks for a preorder.
