2 problems

first problem:
I managed to make a truck drives around in circles yay! But I can walk through it… :frowning:
It is build up with clip brushes and then I selected them all put it as a script_mover with key model and value path/blitzbody3.md3

and the box for solid is checked, so i dont know why it isnt solid.

second problem:
I made a lift, which is triggered by a trigger multiple, so if you stand in it it goes up, but that isnt happening, when u stand in it it flys off to the left !?!?! pretty annoying lol.
that is a trigger multiple attached to a script_mover that via a script knows to go to path_corner.

Any ideas to fix it?

if truck is a script_mover (stupid question) tick the solid box

And @ problem 2, perhaps u need some origin or something, didnt really read the qstion 100% + aint familiar with lifts + gotta go :smiley:

  • and possibly something with the directions (-1 and such, dont remember this atm)

yea I added a origin box now but getting other problems will see what happens
and I ticked the solid box :stuck_out_tongue:

aah just fixed the lift, I just remade the whole thing lol fixed the problem, now i just got a truck problem

Maybe you got it double clipped? Im not familiar with movers, but have you tried to untick the solid box?

aaah pff I am going crazy I made the body disappear then I made the wheels disappear, then I made them both disappear, then I got them back again!
But still not soild!!! AAAAAAAAAAARGGGGHHHH

tried turning solid off I tried back on again. I checked and rechecked and then checked the script again…

Are you sure, it’s not solid, not just turned 90*? Sometimes it rotates 90* at the beginning.

him does it make a difference if it is at an angle?
because I believe it is

EDIT: just checked and it is on 0 degrees, so no angle

EDIT2: I am working on quite a large open map, would I win FPS by adding fog, or loose FPS?

Is this bad? It doesn’t stop the compiler, but is it a bad thing? that i could fix?

anything with a “WARNING” is bad…
try brush cleanup, or remake the clip brushes…
