Interesting.

I chose the Splash Damage forums over the Bethesda forums for the sole fact that the developer, Splash Damageā€¦is making the game. Were I interested in Halo, I would frequent the Bungie forums, not the Microsoft forums. lol

In any case, it is good to hear that the Bethesda forums are also cool and serve a purpose. :slight_smile:

The Brink forums here are part of the Splash Damage site and the one over at Bethesda is part of the Bethesda site. The ETQW community site was in no way related to Activision except that they seemed to be the one who could decide on when to pull the plug.

iā€™m more of a casual gamer myself, pc-only though, i have a ps2, but thatā€™s only when the pc doesnā€™t work or someone else is using it :stuck_out_tongue:
wich is probably why i fit more in the bethsoft forum

anyway you should stay here. you have no guarantee bethesdaā€™s forum will last long enought. who knows, maybe SD will create sub forums for console players later.

sorry, not true, the forums are/were a subgroup of the Official sites at both Activision and Bethesda. For example, go to Bethesda Softworks, you get directed to brinkthegame.com, from there to the Bethesda forums, was the same at Activision for ET:QW

They have avatars you just have to be signed in to see them. and there are a lot of random people posting random crap now. before there wasnt as much . . . spam posting i guess. god i remember some guy, artificial100 or something, created posts on whether there should be jetpacks and hoverboards and killstreaks. people started gettin kinda pissed about such stupid topics when that happened.

i like them in mw2, theyā€™re easy to take out even with a handgun.
i however do not like them in brink or any brinkrelated forum

yeah, I remember posting about how my character was going to wear Hockey equipment, both here and the bethesda forums as a joke to why there isnā€™t any sports equipment, or a stadium of some sort in Brink.

Then I theorized that it is because the Security, aka Nerds, want to hog the ark, and kick the Resistance, aka Jocks, out.

Also have you noticed the multitude of topics about the same thing on the Bethesda forums?
