2 gtks... 1 puter?

Is it possible to run 2 version of radiant on one computer?

If so, how do I do it?

thx

Um… yeah.

I have 3 diff version of GTK on ma puter.
They install to diff directories anyway, so it’s ok.

Here’s the list:

GtkRadiant-1.2.13-update-SoF2
GtkRadiant-1.3.8-ET
GtkRadiant-1.3.11-beta-ET

All 3 in seperate folders.
All have their own q3map2.exe

Or do you mean at the same time?

Well the thing that I wasnt sure about was if radiant modifies the contents the _basepath radiant folder…

Sure I see no prob having different directories for the core radiant program… but each install of radiant writes info to the radiant folder for each game… And I wasnt sure if that info was backwards compatable.

Sounds like it is… cause I talk to TTimo about it and he said np.

thx

You’ve answered your own question, here, Redfella:

But, during Radiant installation, you get to define what, exactly, you want the “Radiant” folder for a given game (and a given copy of Radiant) to be.

The default when installing Gtk 1.3.8-ET is “Radiant-1.3”–just change this to “Radiant-1.3.8” then, when you get around to installing 1.3.11, use “Radiant-1.3.11” as the “Radiant” directory. You’ll get no conflicts.
