My first cobalt from case dropped at about level 30 for me, first trade up to cobalt was at level 23. I’m a bit salty now.
2 cobalt with 2 cases ? Better play at the lottery.

Not dropping cobalt after 2000 cases is like 13.5% probability, not that much unlucky, just a bit.

The chance of that happening (assuming you got them from regular equipment cases) is 0.0001% (one in a million) so consider yourself extremely lucky!
Fireworks got to level 72 before his Cobalt. I got my first (and only) after about 500 in-game (not Steam) hours, and I have played since day one (over a year).
Of course we do have the ‘case-a-day-may’ event running, where expert cases drop, and if you got it from them, FrostVampire is correct.

Grats, wish I had your luck! Seems to be a good way to start off in a new game. Being new and getting Cobalts early really amps up the addiction factor lol.

When lvl3 have 2 card for 2 mercs a cobalt and the default you know life is not fair. I swear cobalt supposed to be rare. Congrats (not really

A friend of mine also got 2 Cobalts out of his very first 2 Expert cases (he is lv4 atm).
Honestly I’m starting to think this has to do somthing with being a low level and SD making new player feel beter/’‘addicted’’ puts on his tin foil hat
(Yes I’m extremely salty and jealous with my 10 bronzes and 2 silvers)
