1st vs 2nd Edition Cards

(Verticules) #1

What is the point of marking cards that have no changes to them? I like the idea of the changes, but having cards with the only change being the Edition Stamp doesn’t make sense to me.

They changed cards which needed a change because they were bad. Most really good cards were good, and weren’t changed.

So that you can get pretty versions if you didn’t have the credits/cards to trade up before. Also, perfect cards are usually the ones that get carried, like the 383 for Sparks and BL32/A31 for Fletcher.

On topic to this thread I would like to ask you guys. Is it worth trading up my 1st gen loadouts for 2nd gen silvers/golds/cobalts or should I keep them since they are ‘rare’ or whatever and just start all over again?

(LifeupOmega) #5

If they’re bad no one will want them aside from die hard collectors.

(Verticules) #6

I guess I should clarify my question. Why put Edition #s on cards that have no changes?

(Szab95) #7

I think its easier to manage them, so they don’t have to put ed1 cards into cases

I question the existence of Gen1 cards with exactly the same loadout as Gen 2 cards.
It makes inventory quite messy, having duplicates with only different Gen skin. And more hussle in buying bronze cards…
